Associate, Functional Quality Assurance

About the role:
We are looking for an Associate, Functional Quality Assurance to join our rapidly growing team in Bangalore, India.
What you will do:
• Work directly with the product, design and development teams to create and execute new test cases for new products and applications as they are developed
• Run regression tests and test cases for products after assessing impact areas.
• Log clear and self-explanatory bug reports in our bug tracking system and then work directly with development to follow-up those bugs till resolution.
• Take part in daily project meetings and provide feedback to the project team regarding the QA status.
Who you are:
Manual Expertise –
• 3-4 years of experience in Software Testing(QA & QC)
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Create Test Plans, Test Cases for new features and enhancements to existing features
• Experience in preparing detailed test cases, executing them and reporting defects
• Strong functional testing knowledge and concepts
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Should have experience working in Agile-Scrum process
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. JIRA, HP ALM)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have working knowledge of API Testing and API testing tool POSTMAN, Fiddler, others
Automation Basics -
• Knowledge in any programming language preferably(Java or Python)
• Expertise in Automation testing of Web Applications using Selenium/WebdriverIO with Java/Python
• Knowledge on any of the open source frameworks including POM, Cucumber, TestNG, J-Unit
• Hands-on experience in developing & enhancing Automation framework for Web applications
• Familiarity with concepts of TDD & BDD
Good To Have -
• Knowledge on Version control like Git, GitHub, BitBucket, etc…
• Good to have SQL skills
• Good to have knowledge and working experience on Jenkins/Azure DevOps, CI/CD
