Job Description

As a 3D Environment Artist Intern in our creative team in Barcelona, you’ll have the opportunity to work on the creation of in-game environments. You’ll collaborate closely with designers and artists to bring worlds to life, learning about the full environment art production pipeline, from concept to integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the modeling and texturing of in-game environments, props, and key landmarks.
  • Working from concepts, 3D mock-ups, and art direction guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborating with level designers during the implementation process.
  • Supporting the definition of materials and light properties for shaders.
  • Helping with data and workflow optimization within the environment art pipeline.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Art, 3D Design, Game Art, or a related field, and able to sign an internship agreement with your university.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about environment art and video games.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in 3ds Max and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of modeling and texturing for games (low- and high-poly).
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
