Marketing and Communications provide university-wide strategic marketing and communications advice and develop, manage and implement marketing and communications activities (including advertising) across all Griffith audiences including prospective and current students, staff, alumni, donors and corporate partners.
Job Description
As a Digital Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the university’s online presence and driving its recruitment and reputation goals. Elevate the quality, consistency, and impact of our brand across all digital channels.
Working as part of the Marketing Technology team, provide technical guidance and hands-on support to assist with administration, development, and smooth operation of the university website. From managing and optimizing web content to web design, web analytics and Search Engine Optimisation.
About you:
- Technical Expertise in web content management systems (CMS) and website administration.
- Strong Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools to improve visibility and performance.
- Experienced in responsive web design utilising cascading stylesheets (CSS).
- Understanding of UX principles and best practices for digital engagement.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data and inform digital strategy.
- Problem-Solving Ability with a proactive approach to improving digital processes.
What we can offer
- This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
- Base Salary Hew 6 in the range of $91,843- $97,964per annum plus 17% Superannuation.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification relating to web development and/or information technology.
