Halcyon

We were co-founded in 2014. As a non-profit, we accelerate businesses that aim to make a positive impact. We offer fellowships to early-stage social entrepreneurs, giving them space, community, and connections.

We support ventures in three areas: Climate, Health, and EquityTech. Our Climate fellows work on solutions for climate change adaptation and resilience. Our Health fellows focus on improving individual and community well-being through affordable, quality care and better physical and mental health. Our EquityTech fellows build inclusive systems that close gaps in wealth, education, and opportunity, with a focus on EdTech and the Future of Work.

We provide tailored business training in leadership, product-market fit, and capital strategy, plus other resources. We have a global community of over 650 entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries. By 2021, we also launched financing vehicles like Halcyon Fund I & II and the HVP Angels.

Time off includes 12 paid holidays, 3 weeks of vacation, 5 sick days, and an additional week off from December 25th to December 31st. Flexible work arrangements include two work-from-home days a week and the option to work from anywhere for up to two weeks a year. We also support professional development.
