You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of cutting-edge products and solutions including SMART Broadcasting, Video Cloud, GFX, and other leading tooling and infrastructure platforms that support live sports production and delivery around the globe.
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer with solid C++ skills, a curious mindset, and a passion for solving real-world problems. Whether you’re optimizing multithreaded code for live encoding, interfacing with video hardware, or building scalable tooling systems, you’ll be making a direct impact on how fans, players, officials, and broadcasters experience sport, all while learning from a world-class engineering team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain core components for our systems and tooling platforms.
Solve Diverse Challenges: Work on a range of technical tasks, from hardware interfacing and network protocols to audio/video processing and UI development.
Write Clean Code: Build efficient, robust, and multithreaded C++ applications while maintaining high code quality through code reviews and testing.
Real-World Impact: Take part in field testing and help support deployments at live sporting events.
Continuous Learning: Actively participate in technical and design discussions, giving you the opportunity to grow your architectural skills.
What We’re Looking For
Strong C++ Foundations: Good proficiency in modern C++ (C++14⁄17, with an eagerness to work with C++20).
Multithreading & Performance: Experience writing multithreaded code and an understanding of how to optimize for performance.
Core Engineering Tools: Familiarity with tools like Git, Visual Studio, and standard debugging workflows.
Relevant Ecosystems: Knowledge of (or exposure to) frameworks and libraries such as Qt, FFmpeg, OpenGL, or audio/video processing tools.
Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to learn and take on more autonomy over time.
Bonus Points For
Exposure to network protocols, cloud technologies (like AWS), or video/audio encoding workflows.
A passion for sport or experience working in high-performance, real-time environments.
