About you
We are looking for a full-time or part-time dietician to join us, working remotely, to develop and deliver a nutrition and dietetic service to patients online.
This role is best suited to a dietitian with 2-4 years of experience who enjoys hands-on clinical work in a consistent, remote setting.
You will:
- Teach and advise clients about how food and healthy eating habits can prevent illness and achieve and maintain optimum health.
- Advise on what to eat to lead a healthier lifestyle or to attain a set of health related goals, including weight loss, the management of diabetes, hormonal disorders or the reduction of high blood pressure.
- Evaluate the patients’ health and habits and assess this alongside the patients’ health and lifestyle goals.
You will also need:
Current and up to date registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
University degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
To have minimum of 2 years’ experience, post qualification with some paediatric experience required
IT literacy (intermediate level minimum)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
