The Mission of the Data Marketing Manager

The Data Marketing Manager leads the execution of integrated campaigns that drive the visibility and commercial impact of our SAR data products. This role will translate strategic input from the Data LoB and produce campaign plans jointly with product marketing and content marketing. These plans will include well-executed campaigns and event activations. The Data Marketing Manager shows creativity and excels in planning, coordination, and performance analysis, bringing structure and momentum to our go-to-market efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data marketing quarterly plans with the Marketing Director.

  • Manage the data marketing campaign related budget.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-channel campaigns in support of product launches, data solutions, and brand initiatives.

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Content Marketing to activate messaging, assets, and timing.

  • Maintain and manage the marketing campaign calendar, aligning deliverables across the team.

  • Collaborate with sales, regional marketing, and corporate marketing ops to ensure campaign success.

  • Brief regional marketing quarterly on upcoming campaigns.

  • Manage event-related activities, including planning, promotion, and post-event follow-up.

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, sharing learnings and optimisation insights.

  • Document and improve internal workflows to scale marketing execution effectively.

  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for campaign readiness and delivery coordination.

  • 6-10 years of relevant marketing experience in B2B or B2G environments, preferably in defense, technology, SaaS, geospatial, or data-driven industries

  • Experience in marketing to different audience types and tailoring value propositions and related messaging for diverse commercial verticals

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong conceptual skills and attention to detail

  • Fluency in Business English

  • Exceptional ability to collaborate and influence across the teams with a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration

Core Competencies for Data Marketing Manager

Campaign Planning & Execution Ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns from concept to completion. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining quality standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Skill in working effectively across product marketing, content, sales, regional teams, and corporate functions. The role requires influencing without authority and maintaining alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Commercial B2B Marketing Expertise Understanding of B2B buyer journeys and how to tailor messaging for different commercial verticals (insurance, maritime, finance, natural catastrophe response). Experience translating technical product capabilities into customer-relevant value propositions.

Written & Verbal Communication Strong ability to articulate complex concepts clearly, both in written materials and presentations. This applies to internal briefs, external campaign copy, and stakeholder reporting.

Performance Analysis Competence in monitoring campaign metrics, drawing actionable insights, and applying learnings to optimize future efforts. Comfort with data-driven decision making.

Event Management Experience planning and executing event activations, including pre-event promotion, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up.

Adaptability & Initiative

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift. Requires entrepreneurial drive, hands-on attitude, and comfort operating with ambiguity while maintaining focus on outcomes.

Process Orientation Skill in documenting workflows, maintaining calendars, and building repeatable systems that enable the team to scale marketing execution.
