We are looking for a legacy Banking Application Specialist to participate in a large-scale banking transformation and application consolidation project.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of existing legacy application logic and workflows
Functional and technical mapping to the target Core Banking environment
Support of migration and consolidation activities
Collaboration with business and technical teams
Documentation and knowledge transfer activities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Proven hands-on experience with the combination of Cobol/LANSA or Cobol/Cool:Plex
Strong understanding of legacy enterprise application architecture and maintenance
Experience analyzing and documenting existing application logic, workflows, and data flows
Ability to perform functional and technical mapping between legacy systems and target Core Banking platforms
Experience participating in migration, consolidation, or modernization projects
Knowledge of banking systems, especially Loans, Core Banking, or Financial Services applications
Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
Understanding of batch processing, interfaces, and integration mechanisms in enterprise systems
Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams
Experience in enterprise banking environments and mission-critical systems is highly desirable
