Within just a couple of years, our team has grown by more than 80%, we have moved into a new spacious and modern office, and we have embarked on several exciting projects in digital transformation, custom software, and robotics.
We are now looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Engineer Team Lead to lead our Data Engineering team on new challenging outsourced projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills, guiding the team in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Data Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Design, architect, and oversee the development of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
Define and implement data modeling standards and best practices aligned with business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
Oversee the collection, transformation, and analysis of large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights
Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across projects
Review code, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to technical standards and architectural guidelines
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and introduce modern data engineering tools and methodologies
Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering roles
Former experience in a leadership position
Strong knowledge of data modeling methodologies and Data Warehousing practices
Advanced experience with Azure technologies
Knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, Python
Solid experience in designing and implementing ETL processes
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Strong understanding of data architecture principles and scalable system design
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Experience working in outsourced or client-facing projects
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
