We are now looking for a skilled and talented DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable pipelines and automated procedures to support multiple mission-critical platforms in the defense and homeland security domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks for mission-critical systems.

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.

  • Automate Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to enable rapid, repeatable deployments.

  • Create custom scripts and automation procedures to streamline workflows

  • Collaborate effectively with engineers and operation staff to gather requirements, refine CI/CD pipelines and perform peer reviews on automation code and scripts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration and DevOps roles.

  • Deep expertise in Linux server administration, including networking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

  • Strong grasp of system security principles and best practices.

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

  • Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub.

  • Solid scripting skills in Bash or Python.

  • Sharp problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication skills to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong command of English.

Nice to have:

  • Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, RHCE, or similar.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack or Dynatrace.

  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
