We are now looking for a skilled and talented DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable pipelines and automated procedures to support multiple mission-critical platforms in the defense and homeland security domains.

Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks for mission-critical systems.
Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.
Automate Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to enable rapid, repeatable deployments.
Create custom scripts and automation procedures to streamline workflows
Collaborate effectively with engineers and operation staff to gather requirements, refine CI/CD pipelines and perform peer reviews on automation code and scripts.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration and DevOps roles.
Deep expertise in Linux server administration, including networking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Strong grasp of system security principles and best practices.
Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub.
Solid scripting skills in Bash or Python.
Sharp problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Strong command of English.

Nice to have:

Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, RHCE, or similar.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack or Dynatrace.
Proficiency in German is a plus.
