What the team is working on:
As part of the multi-year project R7 team is building Eurex’ new risk and market data platform. The team focuses on the development of new functionality in microservice cloud native architecture to serve the internal customers’ needs. Besides the development and configuration of data management functionalities (e.g., data cleansing), the team is also working on establishing new interfaces to the risk calculation platform R7 which will be built in parallel.
We are looking for a dedicated test engineer to join our IT hub in Prague and help us with the functional and technical tests of the Risk management system. The job is hybrid work model. We use self-developed, open source and commercial software. Our stringent requirements in terms of complex functionality, high reliability and availability, latency, throughput, scalability and operability will thoroughly challenge your technical and testing skills and provide ample opportunities for continuous improvement.
Desired technical skills and experience:
- A minimum of two years commercial experience in software testing
- Test automation of backend applications
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with Linux and command line
- Working proficiency and communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding technical issues
Following skills would be a plus:
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Jira, X-Rays
- Basic knowledge of financial markets (bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, futures, options)
- Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (GCP)
- Experience with Grafana
