Test Analyst (QA)
The consultant will work on customer-facing front-end applications within the insurance domain, including:
- Customer portal and web applications
- Claims tracking and traceability systems
These applications support the full claims lifecycle for insurance customers.
Responsibilities
The Test Analyst will be responsible for:
- Designing and maintaining test cases
- Executing functional and integration tests
- Managing and tracking defects
- Reporting test progress and quality metrics
- Working with Jira and Xray for test management
- Collaborating closely with backend teams and business stakeholders
- Ensuring proper test coverage of APIs and system integrations
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in QA and software testing
- Experience in the insurance industry is a strong advantage
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Minimum B2 level in English (french is a plus)
Testing Skills
- Strong functional testing expertise
- Experience with API testing (REST)
- Experience with tools such as ReadyAPI / similar API testing tools
- Experience testing inter-system integrations and complex information systems
Tools
- Jira
- Xray test management
Methodologies
- Agile delivery
- Understanding of Shift-Left testing practices
Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- A Test Analyst
- Autonomous and proactive
- Able to understand business needs
- Comfortable working fully integrated with development teams
- Analytical, structured, and collaborative
Certifications (Preferred)
- ISTQB certification is highly desirable
