Let’s start with the role
The Finance Operations Manager will lead Kaizen’s end to end finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across all financial processes. This role is pivotal in managing Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Finance Automation, while championing process optimization, adopting new technologies, and driving operational transformation.
As a Finance Operations Manager you will :
- Lead end-to-end GL accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a timely financial close.
- Oversee global AP operations, streamlining processes and enhancing vendor relationships.
- Drive process improvements and automation using RPA, AI, and advanced finance tools.
- Ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting across all entities and geographies.
- Partner with Finance, Tax, and FP&A teams to align operations with business strategy.
- Lead and develop a multi-geography team of approximately 20 finance professionals.
- Maintain strong governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Support strategic initiatives to enhance the finance operating model and drive efficiency.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-country finance operations.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale Accounting and AP functions, ideally within a shared services environment or international operating model.
- Experience implementing finance process transformation, including ERP upgrades, automation tools, and integration of new technologies.
- Strong command of core finance cycles, GL management, and financial close processes.
- Hands-on expertise with ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Business Central), invoice automation tools, business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) and project management tools (e.g. Jira).
- Advanced proficiency in leveraging automation and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and controls.
- Very strong people leadership capabilities, with proven success in managing cross-regional, multi-disciplinary teams.
