We are looking for a Vice President, Group Manager, Corporate Reputation

Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who can be a valued client counselor, build trusted relationships, and do work that directly impacts their business. The person in this position will help our clients manage their corporate reputations and mitigate potential risks, and they must have a keen understanding of the business landscape and a grasp of corporate stakeholder audiences. We want forward-looking strategic thinking and a strong understanding of the tactics needed to bring it to life.

  • Serve as agency lead on accounts with corporate reputation needs.
  • Grow strong relationships with senior clients and become a trusted advisor by solving problems, offering meaningful counsel, and delivering valuable insights
  • Oversee corporate issues and crisis programming for clients, including but not limited to: building issues-management and scenario plans, developing and facilitating crisis simulations, and supporting real-time crisis management when issues emerge;
  • Draft messaging and materials for clients, such as statements, talking points, press releases, etc.;
  • Deliver strategic, engaging, and persuasive memos and presentations to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues, and others;
  • Design and implement strategic programs and solutions, anticipating and alerting teams and clients to potential reputational risks;
  • Use metrics and analytics to build a business case, provide insight, and counsel to clients.
  • Identify and grow organic business opportunities and present concepts and programs for new business pitches;
  • Guide both traditional, social, and digital media to clients, understanding the nuances of each.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and teams; foster respect and collaboration within the team and/or agency partners;
  • Manage and support the team toward excellence in programming; develop and lead the people development of team members.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position
  • Excellent strategic communications, thinking, and writing skills
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, digital tools, and SEO is a plus

The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $185,000. This position may be bonus eligible depending on individual employee performance and Ketchum business performance. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available. #LI-Hybrid
