Job description
Keylane is a leading European supplier of modern, customer-centric SaaS platforms to the insurance and pension industry. With our in-depth knowledge and expertise, we help our clients transform their day-to-day operations by improving cost efficiency, time to market and customer satisfaction. Will you join us?
Lifetime is our proven DB/DC pension administration platform for the Dutch and Caribbean markets, supporting all types of pension providers and schemes in a secure, private cloud SaaS model.
Key about your role
As a Junior Engineer for Lifetime, you will be a member in our Technical Application Management team (TAM), you help safeguard the availability, performance and security of our Lifetime environments for customers in the Life & Pension domain.
Together with experienced colleagues, you:
Monitor the Lifetime platform and act on alerts and incidents (for example disk space issues, high CPU usage or Tomcat down situations).
Contribute to daily operations: handling service requests and standard changes, following agreed ITIL processes.
Support the provisioning and configuration of new customer environments, including setting up application components and validating that they are ready for use.
Assist in user management, such as managing Citrix users who connect to Lifetime and handling application user access.
Help with webservice management: whitelisting access, configuring endpoints and provisioning webservices for customers on IIS.
Participate in patching and security updates for the technology stack (Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, Tomcat and related components), following runbooks and under guidance from senior engineers.
Learn to manage client and server certificates for the platform, including renewals and deployments.
Support external audits, penetration tests and failover tests by preparing evidence, executing standard test steps and documenting results.
Keep runbooks and documentation up to date so we can work in a standardized and auditable way.
You will grow into taking more ownership of incidents and changes, and after a proper onboarding and training period you will be part of the standby/on-call rotation.
Key about your team
You will join the TAM team, a group of experienced technical application and infrastructure specialists responsible for running Lifetime as a secure, highly available SaaS platform in our private cloud.
We provide 24⁄7 services to our customers in a controlled, ISO-certified environment, and work closely with functional consultants, product teams and customer stakeholders.
We combine deep technical skills (infrastructure, databases, middleware, security) with strong domain knowledge in Life & Pension.
We value collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement: you will learn from senior colleagues, pair on complex changes and join in retrospectives to improve how we work.
With the growing number of Lifetime SaaS customers, this department is increasingly important within Keylane and offers many opportunities to develop yourself and your career.
You have a completed bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related, technical, or scientific discipline.

You are analytical, curious and eager to learn, and you enjoy troubleshooting technical issues step by step.
You are service-oriented and communicative, able to explain technical issues clearly to colleagues and customers.
You like working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and think in solutions rather than problems.
You are willing to occasionally work outside regular office hours and to participate in the standby/on-call rota after onboarding.
A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process. All employees follow information security training and have basic information security responsibilities.
