About the Position

The company is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee complex mechanical and electrical projects in commercial buildings. While the position is remote, it requires commuting in the Montgomery area where the companyโ€™s primary focus is. This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of impactful projectsโ€”ranging from HVAC design and upgrades to electrical system improvements and building automation system (BAS) installations.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a strong technical background, capable of managing cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of mechanical/electrical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and performance optimization of HVAC systems, electrical upgrades, and BAS.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align goals and drive success.
  • Supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare progress reports, track milestones, and maintain consistent stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing mechanical and/or electrical projects in commercial building environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, manage budgets, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Some travel to the Cleveland office for meetings.
