About the Position
The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding the companyโs market presence across the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role responsible for introducing HVAC and A2L refrigerant systems to a highly technical and regulation-driven construction ecosystem.
The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in engineered products or construction materials to drive adoption of an innovative, differentiated solution. This role requires a strategic, consultative salesperson with the ability to manage long and complex sales cycles, influence multiple stakeholders, and identify both short-term wins and long-term growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a regional sales strategy aligned with the companyโs national growth plan
- Building relationships across the construction value chain, including engineers, architects, owners, and contractors
- Driving product adoption by educating customers on technical features, regulatory requirements, and life-safety benefits
- Identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities
- Managing complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers
- Reporting on regional performance trends and competitive activity
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Requirements
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Experience: 7+ years of sales experience in engineered products, construction materials, HVAC systems, or related sectors
- Proven success introducing new or disruptive products into the construction ecosystem
- Ability to navigate highly fragmented, technical, code-driven markets
- Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and influencing multiple stakeholders
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex system advantages clearly
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline to work remotely
- Willingness to travel throughout PA, MD, VA, DE, and DC as needed
