We started in 2020, building AI-native graphic design workflows that produce usable, on-brand designs.

Our AI design platform combines creative AI models with precise editing controls, catering to creators, designers, and ambitious businesses. It includes AI image generation, background remover, image reframing, vector editing, text effects, mockups, and customizable templates. We integrate various AI models like ByteDance Seedream, Ideogram, Google Nano Banana, OpenAI GPT Alpha, ChatGPT Image, DALL-E 3, and Black Forest Labs Flux.

Over 10 million users have created with us. Tobias Saul, a lettering artist and type designer, and Nicolas Heymann, an entrepreneur, co-founded Kittl. Their first venture, Heritage Type Co., a vintage font marketplace, evolved into Heritage Designer, an editing platform. This platform then became Kittl in 2022.

We’ve secured over $45 million in funding and operate on a freemium model, offering Pro and Expert subscription tiers.

We offer flexible working hours, with core hours typically from 11am–5pm CET. You can work remotely for up to 50 days (10 weeks) per year from anywhere in the world, provided core hours are maintained. Employees get up to 30 vacation days per year.
