We launched in 2013 as a global online visual communications platform. Our drag-and-drop interface and templates help users create presentations, documents, websites, social media graphics, posters, apparel, and videos. We offer a library of fonts, stock photos, illustrations, videos, and audio clips, allowing users to design on various devices.

Our work involves developing AI infrastructure for our research team and designing multi-cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, GCore) for model training and inference. We also improve CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads. We maintain and update our observability platforms for engineers, aiming for reliability and performance, often using OpenTelemetry.

We build user-facing experiences for products like Canva Editor, Docs, Presentations, and Websites. This means constantly evolving our frontend with reusable components and design systems. Internally, we manage Workday HR modules, automate HR workflows, provide data insights, and support platform upgrades. Our data science team sets up frameworks and standards for data science practices, including experimentation and measurement frameworks for product decisions.
