Job Summary

Kiva Confections relies on the Field Sales Representative (FSR) to manage and grow relationships with accounts in assigned geographic markets. The FSR will be the primary point of contact for these accounts and will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, developing and executing collaborative programs with Kiva’s retail partners, building relationships, and identifying and closing new business opportunities within their assigned territory. This position reports to the Senior Sales Manager.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Google Suite and CRM tools is necessary; Salesforce experience is a plus.

  • Influence and Communication: The ability to build and exert influence both internally and externally, and excellent communication skills are key.

  • Industry Enthusiasm: A passion for the cannabis industry is desired.

As Kiva’s Field Sales Representative - White Plains, NY, you will…

  • Revenue Generation: Meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets by actively managing and expanding sales within existing accounts and proactively prospecting for new business.

  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts, including owners, buyers, dispensary managers, budtenders, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborative Program Development: Working closely with Kiva Trade Marketing Managers, and retail partners to design and implement Sales Driving Activities that include, but not limited to: promotional programs, incentives/contests, customer displays and merchandising, product launches, brand and product training, and other initiatives that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Data and analytics provide insights that drive decision-making, strategy development, and performance measurement, enabling you to understand your business and achieve success.

  • New Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned market, including targeting new accounts and expanding Kiva brands and product distribution within existing accounts.

  • KPI Achievement: Contributing to the achievement of company-assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to field activities, sales, distribution, and brand awareness.

  • CRM Ownership: Oversee and execute daily interactions with retailers and all relevant field activities within the Salesforce platform. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that all retailer contact information is accurate and up-to-date, logging all interactions and activities, and managing any follow-up tasks or actions.

What we’re looking for…

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience with increasing responsibility
  • 2+ years of Cannabis industry experience preferred
  • You are proficient with Google Suite and CRM tools are necessary; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Must be  able to meet Kiva’s Motor Vehicle Report requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel extensively 4 days per week within the assigned market to work with retailer partners and consumers

$58,000 - $77,000 a year

Salary plus quarterly bonus.  Please note, we consider a number of factors such as internal pay parity, relevant experience/skills, geographic location, etc.

Work Environment

  • This role requires frequent travel to retailers, client sites, trade shows, or industry events.
  • Work may be performed in varying environments, including offices, retail settings, and outdoor locations.
  • Regular use of a personal vehicle and/or air travel is required.
  • The work environment may vary daily, requiring adaptability and self-management.

Physical Requirements

  • This role operates primarily in a remote/home office environment using standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools.
  • The employee is expected to maintain a professional workspace free from excessive noise or distractions during working hours.
  • Regular virtual collaboration with team members across multiple time zones may be required.
  • Occasional travel to company offices, client sites, or team meetings may be necessary based on business needs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically low.
  • Employees must have reliable internet access and an appropriate remote workspace that supports confidentiality and productivity.
  • Must be able to load, unload, and move materials or equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • May require standing, climbing, or working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
