We are a management consulting and engineering firm specializing exclusively in artificial intelligence. We help CEOs and senior executives use AI by developing strategies and creating custom, production-ready AI solutions. Our focus is on implementing AI strategies quickly, safely, and responsibly to deliver value to our clients.

Our team has over 30 years of combined AI experience and has completed more than 100 projects. We have automated $18 billion in financial transactions per year. In September 2021, we earned a Google Partner Specialization in Machine Learning. Stephen Straus, Steve Meier, Ron Green, and ZZ Si founded KUNGFU.AI in 2017. Clients include Google, the University of Texas Austin, Kendra Scott, Indeed, Johns Hopkins, and Waste Management.

Our team has grown to over 40 members, including AI, business, and strategy experts. Founded by serial entrepreneurs and AI visionaries, we focus on client needs and employee support. Our culture emphasizes accountability to our values and sees each team member as a whole person with unique experiences.

Outside of work, our employees enjoy activities like painting, writing, fly fishing, cocktail connoisseurship, racing, athletics, board games, and non-profit board membership. We work remotely, with semi-annual in-person events in Austin, TX. We encourage ethical considerations, bold experimentation, a student mindset, pair programming, listening to diverse perspectives, and staying current with research. We consciously avoid overwork, egos, compromising values, and confusing culture with superficial perks.

We offer medical plan options. Employer-paid premiums cover 100% for employees and 50% for dependents on our gold-tier plan. We provide a flexible paid time off (PTO) policy and encourage its use. Employees get 12 company holidays annually, plus their birthday off. We offer 100% employer-paid short and long-term disability benefits and paid parental leave. Every Friday includes ‘Lab Day Sessions’ for personal and professional development. We also provide equity grants and a 401k with both pre-tax and Roth options.
