Role Overview
We are looking for an Integration Architect responsible for designing and shaping system integrations across our digital landscape. You will define REST API–based integrations,
design asynchronous messaging using Kafka, and ensure reliable, secure, and well-documented data flows between internal systems and external partners.
The role is technically oriented with a strong focus on pragmatic architecture and hands-on collaboration with development teams.
Responsibilities
Design end-to-end integration architecture using REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
Define API contracts (OpenAPI), messaging flows (Kafka topics, events), and integration standards.
Decide when to use synchronous vs. asynchronous communication.
Create and maintain technical integration documentation (system context and sequence diagrams).
Address non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and error handling.
Review external partner APIs and support implementation teams with architectural guidance.

Strong understanding of REST APIs (HTTP, JSON, versioning, error handling).
Experience or solid knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
Good grasp of distributed systems fundamentals (latency, retries, eventual consistency).
Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
Nice to have: microservices, cloud platforms, API gateways, schema management.
