About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Meetings & Events Account Manager to manage a high-profile corporate client across various European markets. Working within a highly driven and ambitious delivery team, this is an exciting role providing a rewarding career with the opportunity for development of your commercial skills.

The role can be based remotely where we have an office in the country. All candidates must have Right to Work in the Country you are living in.

You will:

  • Deliver service implementation across all client offices

  • Drive revenue development and growth

  • Strengthen client stakeholder relationships

  • Form trusting partnerships both with internal teams across Europe and suppliers

  • Convert sales opportunities

  • Hunt out new revenue prospects within the clients business

Key duties and responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Effectively manage the client across all European offices and achieve revenue targets

  • Client engaging with a consultative approach; in-take of event enquiries, presenting outstanding event options and solutions, converting enquiries

  • Meeting and presenting Kuoni Tumlare services, value proposition and messaging to new, existing bookers stakeholder and procurement

  • Ensure all meetings and events follow the client’s brand guidelines, corporate standards, and regional compliance requirements.

Strategy & Execution

  • Understand the client’s business objectives, regional differences, and internal structures to align meetings and events with their overall strategy.

  • Be fully immersed in the strategic goals and priorities of Kuoni Tumlare and the client agreement

  • Create, nurture and maintain key relationships with clients and suppliers

  • Prepare and deliver up to date Client Account Development Plans, setting out objectives across the year for growth and development

Profiling & Conversion

  • Profile all contacts and understand client preferences

  • Cross sell all Kuoni Tumlare services in scope

Event Management & Marketing Content

  • Oversee event execution on-site or remotely, acting as the escalation point for any issues and ensuring a seamless attendee experience.

  • Plan, organise and lead events such as, client fam trips, customer events, implementation

  • Contribute and create content for marketing activities; blogs, newsletters, social media, campaigns, etc…

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the local in market teams to ensure service delivery continuity and be abreast of all new briefs.

  • Develop and deliver client reporting at specified intervals factoring in SLA and KPI’s, savings, trends, etc.  Making informed strategic recommendations to the client

  • Prepare reports for internal use on activities, targets, prospects etc

  • Manage the growth and maintenance of the client database / CRM for accurate records

  • Follow key industry trade publications and stay informed of industry news to impart knowledge to colleagues and clients alike

Requirements

About You:

  • Client, sales and account management experience – minimum 3 year

  • Experienced in the MICE sector – destination and venue knowledge are advantageous

  • Previous experience of contract implementation

  • Experience of working across multiple markets

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and achieve results

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Customer-focused with a commitment to satisfaction

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - relationship-building and collaboration abilities

  • Strong organisational, accuracy and planning skills under pressure

  • Natural networker and brand ambassador

  • Understanding of Cvent technology
