Job Description
Kyivstar.Tech is looking for a frontend-focused Full-Stack Developer (Next.js, React Native) to join the Packly project.
Packly is a FoodTech service-marketplace where cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets can sell surplus inventory, and users can buy quality food at substantial discounts.
We are looking for an engineer with architectural thinking who can take end-to-end ownership of features— from designing the database schema to building the UI in a mobile WebView.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain the Packly web application
- Implement and optimize the frontend for reliable operation in WebView
- Work with server-side logic, APIs, and databases
- Collaborate with the mobile team
- Participate in designing technical solutions
Required qualifications and experience
- 3+ years of commercial experience in web development
- Solid understanding of computer science, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong command of OOP principles, SOLID, DRY, KISS, and design patterns
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React (Hooks, Context)
- Deep understanding of Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, SSR/SSG strategies, Web Vitals optimization)
- Experience designing relational databases (PostgreSQL): normalization, indexing
- Understanding of REST API principles and web security (JWT, OWASP)
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (Vercel, GitHub Actions)
- Ability to write tests (Jest, Cypress/Playwright)
- High-quality code reviews; GitFlow or Trunk-based development
A plus would be
- Experience with React Native
- Hands-on experience with Supabase: Auth, Row Level Security (RLS), Edge Functions, Realtime
- Understanding WebView specifics: two-way bridge communication and adapting web UI for mobile UX
