Position Overview
Kyverna is seeking Senior Executive Assistant to provide strategic and administrative support to the CEO and other C-level executives when needed. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and act as a key liaison across the executive leadership team, Board of Directors, investors, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment and demonstrates exceptional judgment, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. This role requires the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and execute with a high degree of accuracy and urgency.
Title: Sr. Executive Assistant
Location: Emeryville, CA (Hybrid)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, including complex calendar management, prioritization of meetings, and coordination across multiple time zones and stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, expense reports, and logistics
- Prepare, edit, and manage confidential correspondence, presentations, reports, meeting agendas, and executive materials
- Coordinate executive leadership meetings, Board meetings, investor meetings, and other high-priority internal and external engagements
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO and executive leadership team, employees, Board members, investors, and external partners
- Support preparation and coordination of Board materials, leadership presentations, and strategic communications
- Track key action items, follow-ups, deadlines, and deliverables on behalf of the CEO
- Assist with special projects, operational initiatives, and cross-functional coordination as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion
- Help drive operational efficiency by improving administrative processes, workflows, and communication practices
- Support planning and execution of company events, offsites, leadership meetings, and employee engagement activities
- Drive regular Executive Assistant team meetings and cross-functional updates to ensure alignment on key business priorities, leadership activities, travel coordination, organizational events, and operational support needs across the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of executive assistant experience supporting C-level executives, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a fast-paced growth environment
- Experience supporting a CEO and/or executive leadership team in a public or clinical-stage biotech company strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and polished demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
- Proven ability to anticipate executive needs and operate proactively with minimal direction
- Experience coordinating Board meetings, investor interactions, and executive communications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Ability to work in a fast dynamic environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and calendar management platforms
The San Francisco Bay area salary range for this position is from $150,000 to $175,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock plan.
