About Laka
We started Laka in 2017 as a collective insurance company for cyclists. Our members contribute to covering each other’s claims.
We expand our market by partnering with independent bike dealers, especially in London. This involves onboarding new retail partners, training their staff, and providing point-of-sale materials. Our goal is for dealers to recommend us as their preferred insurance provider.
For direct-to-consumer marketing, like in the Netherlands, we focus on digital and performance channels such as affiliates, paid search, social media, influencers, podcasts, and YouTube advertising. We also manage regional CRM, website content, and adapt marketing campaigns and product messages for specific markets. We operate in the UK, Netherlands, and other regions.
