Director of Product Management

🇪🇸 Spain - Remote
🚀 Product🔴 Director

Job Description

Lead AI-powered translation and integrations at scale - where product strategy, execution, and real customer value meet.

The role you’ll play

You will play an instrumental role enabling LanguageWire’s new positioning and promise of delivering intelligent solutions that connect, scale, and adapt to enterprise customers’ needs.

As Director of Product Management, you will lead Product Management for AI Translations and Integrations at LanguageWire.

Your scope covers Machine Translation, AI Quality Estimation, LLM- and agentic-AI solutions, APIs, connectors, and enterprise integrations.

You are both a senior product leader and a hands-on execution partner to the VP of Product & Strategy. You help shape product vision and strategy – and ensure it turns into clear priorities, roadmaps, and measurable customer and business outcomes.

You are expected to lead and coach skilled Product Managers, while staying close to discovery, prioritisation, roadmap planning, and delivery in your domains.

The team you’ll be a part of

You will report to the VP of Product & Strategy and are part of the Product & Strategy leadership team. You will be responsible for Product Managers in:

  • AI Translations / Machine Learning
  • Integrations (API & connectors) & Transformers

You will work closely with Engineering, Machine Learning, User Research, Product Design, Product Marketing, and Commercial teams.

In addition, you will be hands-on driving an ambitious transformation of our Product Management and Technology divisions to become empowered and insight-driven product teams.

If you want to make a difference, make it with us by…

  • Owning product vision and strategy for AI Translations and Integrations
  • Ensuring product performances are tracked and relevant product metrics are implemented
  • Turning customer, user, and market insights into clear product bets and priorities
  • Driving AI-powered translation quality, competitiveness, and adoption
  • Defining and executing our integration strategy (APIs, connectors, bespoke integrations, partners)
  • Establishing strong discovery, validation, and prioritisation practices
  • Supporting the VP of Product & Strategy on portfolio strategy, roadmap frameworks, and planning
  • Coaching and empowering Product Managers to own outcomes, not just output
  • Acting as a senior product voice across the organisation, aligning stakeholders around strategy, priorities, and measurable impact

In one year, you’ll know you were successful if…

  • AI Translation and Integration roadmaps are clearly linked to strategy, customer needs, and business outcomes
  • Product decisions are driven by data, discovery, and measurable impact
  • Integrations increase customer stickiness and enterprise value
  • Stakeholders see Product as a strategic partner
  • You have materially contributed to elevating the overall product craft and operating model across LanguageWire

Desired experience and competencies

What does it take to work for LanguageWire?

What you’ll need to bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, including senior leadership roles
  • Proven experience owning AI-driven products, ideally within MT, Language AI, or similar domains
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, MT systems, AI Quality Estimation, and agentic AI concepts
  • Experience APIs, connectors, developer platforms, or bespoke enterprise integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps grounded in customer and market insights
  • Deep knowledge of product discovery, prioritisation, and roadmap ownership
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through change
  • Comfort working both strategically and hands-on in complex environments

This will make you stand out

  • Lead with calm, structure and trust
