THE ROLE

Launch Potato connects millions of consumers to the world’s top brands every month across financial services, insurance, e-commerce, and beyond. Our Partner Network is one of our fastest-growing revenue channels - and it’s looking for its first dedicated owner.

This is not an optimization job. It’s a build job. You’ll inherit an established, growing book of publisher and advertiser relationships, own the full P&L, and set the strategy for where the network goes next. If you’ve run a network before and want to own one outright, this is the role.

MUST HAVE: Proven experience running or building an affiliate or performance network with direct P&L accountability, including personal ownership of publisher and advertiser relationships at scale.

  • Proficiency in Looker or comparable BI tools is required
  • Hands-on experience with TUNE or a comparable affiliate tracking platform

EXPERIENCE: 8-12 years in affiliate marketing, performance partnerships, or digital media with demonstrated ownership of revenue or margin growth.

EXPECTATIONS

Mission Own and scale Launch Potato’s Partner Network by growing publisher supply, driving advertiser demand, and building the operational foundation for a durable, high-margin business.

Outcomes Ranked by order of importance:

  1. Stabilize and grow the existing book of 40+ publisher relationships within the first 90 days - reduce churn risk, establish performance baselines, and identify top expansion opportunities.
  2. Drive year-over-year margin growth for the Partner Network with a clear operating plan and measurable progress by Q3.
  3. Build cross-functional trust with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales within the first 6 months - measured by active collaboration on at least two joint initiatives.
  4. Launch at least one net-new vertical or traffic channel by end of year with positive margin contribution.
  5. Hire and onboard a first Account Manager within 6 months, contingent on business performance and pipeline growth.

Competencies

Ownership without prompting. Takes full accountability for the P&L, the relationships, and the outcomes. Doesn’t wait to be asked - surfaces problems early and drives to resolution.

Deal instincts. Knows what a good partnership looks like and what a bad one costs. Structures agreements that balance partner value with margin discipline. Walks away when the deal doesn’t work.

Data-driven decision making. Runs the business from dashboards, not gut feel. Uses Looker and platform reporting to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where to place the next bet.

Cross-functional influence. Builds trust across teams they don’t own. Gets Product, Engineering, and Finance aligned and moving without needing formal authority to do it.

Builder’s mentality. Comfortable doing the work themselves before building the team around it. Finds the process improvements, closes the gaps, and creates the playbook others will eventually run.

Compliance rigor. Understands that operating in regulated verticals like financial services requires documentation discipline, partner quality standards, and proactive oversight - not reactive cleanup.

Urgency. Moves fast without cutting corners. Knows that in a high-velocity network business, slow decisions compound quickly.

TOTAL COMPENSATION

Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Launch Potato is a performance-driven company, which means once you are hired, future increases will be based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
