Job Description
LegalMatch Philippines is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in a hands-on individual contributor role focused on execution, accuracy, and reliability rather than people management or executive authority. You will support recurring revenue and accounting workflows in a U.S.-based finance environment, working closely with stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records, support recurring reporting, and ensure dependable workflow execution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly revenue file cleanup, reconciliation, and maintenance of recurring revenue workflows.
- Prepare and maintain revenue schedules and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency of revenue and financial data across systems.
- Gradually take ownership of recurring revenue maintenance processes and related reporting responsibilities.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare, maintain, and support recurring financial reports, including semi-monthly reporting requirements.
- Provide ad hoc accounting support to finance leadership as business needs evolve.
- Work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders during overlapping hours to support timely decisions and workflow execution.
- Maintain reliable availability, provide timely updates, and proactively communicate risks, delays, or issues affecting deliverables.
- Clarify expectations with stakeholders and communicate progress clearly, including timelines and workload capacity.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams when financial coordination is required.
Growth Expectations
Develop independence in managing recurring revenue workflows
Take full ownership of monthly revenue file maintenance over time
Expand responsibilities into reconciliation, payroll, and reporting as workload evolves
2–4 years of professional accounting experience
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Strong experience in accounts receivable and reconciliations
Ability to maintain structured accounting workflows
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage recurring accounting deliverables independently
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Willing to work U.S.-aligned hours (1:00 AM – 9:00 AM PH time)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- U.S. company experience
- Microsoft-based workflow familiarity
- Exposure to automation tools
