Cents is the operating system for the laundry industry — powering thousands of laundromats and dry cleaners with payments, workflow automation, and business intelligence. We’re a Series C company on a mission to modernize a $40B industry that’s been underserved by technology for decades. Our finance team plays a central role in how we scale. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment where your work directly supports our growth, and you’ll have the tools, systems, and teammates to do your best work.
What You’ll Do:
● Manage end-to-end AP cycle: invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, and payment
processing
● Maintain general ledger, reconcile balance sheet accounts (cash, prepaids, accounts
payable, others) and prepare journal entries
● Maintain vendor master data and enforce W-9⁄1099 compliance.
● Assist with audit, tax preparation, and year-end closing.
● Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
What You’ve Got:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field preferred.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
● Proficiency in accounting software, specifically, NetSuite, Ramp, Airbase, Avalara,
SalesForce and others
● Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
● Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
● Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Bonus:
● CPA certification is a plus.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Knowledge of ERP systems and financial analytics tools.
● Experience with sales taxes and sales tax filings.
$100,000 - $110,000 a year
