Position Summary
Mashgin is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Finance Operations and Transformation professional, with a continuous improvement mindset and a laser focus on execution, to own and lead Order-to-Cash workflows including billing and help strengthen and scale the processes behind our billing, reporting, and financial systems.
In this individual-contributor role, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to solve operational issues. What You’ll Do
- Billing Ownership: Manage SaaS and ancillary billing, including data validation and cross-system reconciliations.
- Operational Reporting: Own the reporting and analyses of core operational metrics including total bookings.
- System Stabilization and Enhancement: Contribute to the stabilization of our newly implemented accounting software by identifying root causes and helping resolve system issues. Lead and implement key functional and reporting improvements within the new accounting platform.
- Process Optimization: Improve, and streamline if needed, billing workflows and system reconciliations by collaborating cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Operations, and Sales.
- Automated Analytics: Build and enhance operational metrics reporting and analyses through automation using BI tools and/or AI applications.
- Commissions Management: Own the end-to-end sales commission calculation and reconciliation process.
- Special Projects: Lead ad-hoc initiatives and evolving projects as business needs expand.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Revenue Operations, Order-to-Cash, Billing Operations, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, Business Systems, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience with the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, ideally within a SaaS subscription business.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate inconsistencies, validate data, and reconcile information across multiple sources or systems.
- Working knowledge of business software ecosystems, including accounting software, CRMs, operational platforms, and databases.
- Experience improving, documenting, or automating operational workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and completeness.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or both, including experience working with complex datasets, formulas, and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in an evolving environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to the full-cycle implementation or migration of an ERP, accounting-software (Campfire preferred), billing-system, or financial systems.
- Deep knowledge in SaaS billing models, recurring revenue, bookings, renewals, contract changes, and subscription adjustments.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and primary financial statements.
- Experience with Power BI, including basic DAX, Tableau, SQL, or another analytics platform.
- Experience using AI tools to automate, analyze, or improve Finance and Operations workflows.
- Experience calculating or reconciling sales commissions.
- Experience working in a fast-growing organization where processes and systems are still being built.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline.

$135,000 - $195,000 a year
