Job Description
MasteryPrep is hiring engaging, high-energy tutors to support middle school students with math and reading test preparation. This is a hybrid role that includes both virtual tutoring sessions and in-person instruction in the St. Cloud area.
This is a great opportunity for teachers, tutors, coaches, or individuals passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed.
Responsibilities
Deliver live instruction to middle school students (virtual and onsite)
Engage students using an energetic, clear, and encouraging teaching style
Create a positive, supportive learning environment
Support student growth in math and reading skills
Maintain reliable attendance and professionalism during scheduled sessions
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and school partners as needed
Training Provided

Instructional delivery and presentation training

Required Qualifications
- Teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Engaging presentation style and positive attitude
- Ability to work onsite and maintain reliable attendance
- Willingness to travel locally/regionally for weekday in-person events
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid driver’s license
- Must reside in Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
Tutoring experience
Test preparation experience

Note: This position does not require a current teaching certification.
Position: Independent Contractor
Pay: $40 - $50 per hour for in-person instruction, 20 - 30 hours per week
