Job Description
McFadyen Digital is seeking an experienced and proactive Network & Security Senior Analyst to lead our global network and security operations. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance across our distributed offices and Azure‑based hybrid environment. You will manage network infrastructure, maintain core security platforms, and strengthen the reliability of McFadyen’s global IT ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Top 5 Responsibilities:
1. Network Architecture & Management – Design, implement, and maintain resilient network systems ensuring reliable connectivity across global offices.
2. Advanced Troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve complex routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and connectivity issues with minimal business impact.
3. Performance Monitoring & Optimization – Continuously assess network performance and proactively improve reliability, speed, capacity, and security posture.
4. Security Governance – Administer and enhance firewall, VPN, endpoint access, and identity protection controls using Palo Alto, BeyondTrust, and Barracuda.
5. Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration baselines, change logs, and incident reports for audit and operational readiness.
Other Responsibilities
- Manage routers, switches, wireless systems, and global branch network connectivity.
- Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management, and Barracuda security systems.
- Oversee patching, firmware updates, and review of ongoing security alerts and reports.
- Support hybrid Azure networking (VNets, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute-like architectures).
- Collaborate with global IT teams to standardize network/security practices.
- Participate in capacity planning, network modernization, and global upgrade initiatives.
Qualifications
8+ years in network administration or engineering within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and core network security principles.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (Panorama, GlobalProtect).
- Experience administering BeyondTrust (PAM, Remote Support) and Barracuda (email security, filtering, threat protection).
- Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex network performance issues.
- Familiarity with Azure networking and hybrid environments.
- Must be available to go to the Trivandrum office twice a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Network+, PCNSE, or equivalent.
- Microsoft certifications: AZ‑900, AZ‑104, AZ‑700.
- Experience with distributed global teams.
- Automation/scripting experience (PowerShell, Python).
