About the Role
We are looking for a Link Builder with at least 1 year of experience in SEO and link-building activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in identifying quality backlink opportunities, conducting outreach, and building relevant, authoritative links to improve website rankings and organic visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant, high-quality websites for link-building opportunities.
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis to identify potential link prospects.
- Perform email outreach to website owners, bloggers, publishers, and relevant contacts.
- Build backlinks through guest posting, niche edits, resource link building, and other white-hat SEO techniques.
- Evaluate websites based on domain authority, relevance, traffic, spam signals, and overall quality before pursuing link opportunities.
- Maintain and regularly update link-building prospect and outreach databases.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain professional relationships with website owners and publishers.
- Monitor acquired backlinks and maintain accurate records of live and lost links.
- Work closely with SEO and content teams to identify suitable content and link-building opportunities.
- Ensure all link-building activities follow SEO best practices and company guidelines.
- Track outreach performance, placements, and campaign progress and provide regular updates.
Requirements
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in link building or off-page SEO.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and backlink quality.
- Experience with guest posting, outreach, niche edits, and backlink prospecting.
- Ability to conduct competitor backlink research.
- Good knowledge of Google search operators and prospecting techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, or similar tools is preferred.
- Comfortable working independently as well as with a remote SEO team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international/US-based websites.
- Understanding of domain authority, referring domains, anchor text, and link relevance.
- Experience with email outreach tools or CRM platforms.
- Basic understanding of content and SEO strategy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality websites.
