About minware

We started minware in 2021 to build an engineering data platform. Our platform gives development teams the metrics they need to see how their work impacts projects, all without changing their existing workflows. We use a time-native data model to connect information from code, tickets, and other sources directly to development issues.

Our key reports include Work Time Breakdown, Coding Time Traceability, Sprint Performance, and Ticket Lead Time by Status. We help improve the development lifecycle by offering insights into:

  • Quality: tracking bug rates and time-to-fix.
  • Efficiency: analyzing cycle times and task sizes.
  • Predictability: comparing progress against plans.
  • Value: tracking engineering time against delivered value.

We help teams debug bottlenecks by building a complete work timeline from Git, ticket, and meeting data, using a patent-pending time model. This means no more manual time tracking. Users can customize reports with our editable builder, breaking down metrics by historical fields. Our minQL engine lets users create custom metrics with formulas, pulling data from various sources, including custom CSV/JSON uploads, and supports advanced SQL features.

minware integrates with Git (GitHub, Azure), ticket (Jira), and calendar (Google) systems, as well as custom CSV/JSON formats. You can view reports in our dashboards, export them as CSV, or connect them to other tools using our minQL-based ODBC driver. The platform is designed for enterprise environments and includes dynamic table caching, custom data integration, identity and team management, role-based access control, and an on-premise ingest agent. We are AICPA SOC 2 Type 2 certified.
