Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
“ We are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to chase it because, in the process, we will catch excellence.” — Vince Lombardi
The Senior Traffic Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day workflow coordination, task prioritization, and execution monitoring across Content, Search (SEO), and new website development work. This role ensures work moves efficiently through the system, dependencies are managed, and stakeholders stay informed.
This is a hands-on operations role, not a strategy or people-management position. Success in this role directly enables senior leaders to focus on strategy, product integration, and organizational planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Workflow & Delivery Management
- Own intake, prioritization, and tracking of work across recurring content initiatives and Siteflow-related development needs
- Manage transactional workflow tasks, deadlines, and dependencies across writers, SEO resources, and development teams
- Monitor progress and proactively identify risks, blockers, or slippage
Content & Siteflow Coordination
- Manage revision workflows, including tracking feedback, coordinating updates with writers, and ensuring completion
- Support initial development projects and ongoing live-site content needs
- Coordinate recurring content production and Siteflow execution requirements
Navigation, Sitemap & Priority Execution
- Implement against defined navigation best practices and sitemap structures
- Execute on page- and content-level priorities as outlined by Content and Search leadership
- Flag inconsistencies, gaps, or implementation issues for review
Bug Tracking & Communication
- Manage Siteflow-related bug reports, including intake, tracking, and follow-up
- Communicate updates and resolutions clearly to writers and other stakeholders
- Maintain visibility into issue status and ownership
Cross-Functional Communication
- Act as the operational point of contact between Content, Search, Onboarding and Development
- Provide clear status updates and escalation summaries as needed
- Ensure workflows are followed consistently and standards are upheld
What This Role Is NOT:
To be clear, this role does not:
- Define SEO or content strategy
- Own product roadmap decisions
- Manage people
- Act as the final decision-maker on priorities (those are defined by leadership)
This role executes, coordinates, and enforces defined processes and priorities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–8 years of experience in digital operations, delivery coordination, or traffic/project coordination
- Experience working in digital agencies or web-focused environments
- Strong understanding of content workflows, revision cycles, and web publishing processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfort working with US-based stakeholders and time zones
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Exposure to SEO and website development workflows
- Experience coordinating across content, SEO, and development teams
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Project/workflow tools (Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday, etc.)
- CMS or web delivery environments
- Ticketing or bug-tracking systems
- Experience enforcing SLAs, workflows, or operational standards
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (First 90 Days)
- Workflows are clearly tracked, visible, and consistently followed
- Content and Siteflow work moves with fewer delays and less rework
- Writers and delivery teams receive timely, clear direction and updates
- Leadership experiences a meaningful reduction in day-to-day coordination and follow-up
- Risks and blockers are surfaced early with clear context
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
This role is critical to scaling Search and Content delivery, reducing operational friction, and enabling senior leaders to focus on strategy, systems, and growth. Strong execution and communication in this role will have a direct impact on delivery quality and team effectiveness.
