Job Description

MySigrid is looking to hire ambitious, experienced, and resourceful IT Support Specialist to join us in developing scalable software solutions both on mobile and web. You will be working together with a cross-functional team that’s responsible for full software development, from conception to deployment.

YOUR ROLE AS A SENIOR IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to serve as a primary point of contact for technical escalations, infrastructure maintenance, and IT operations. In this senior-level role, you will not only resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network environments but also mentor junior team members, drive process improvements, and contribute to the strategic direction of IT systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology experiences, maintain robust infrastructure, and support the organization’s growth through reliable, scalable IT solutions.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

▸   Serve as the escalation point for complex hardware, software, and network issues beyond Level 1 support.

▸   Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across Windows, macOS, and enterprise applications with minimal supervision.

▸   Diagnose root causes of recurring technical problems and implement permanent fixes.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

▸   Monitor, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure, servers, and cloud-based platforms.

▸   Lead the setup, deployment, and lifecycle management of company devices and remote work tools.

▸   Oversee system backups, security patches, software updates, and routine maintenance schedules.

▸   Administer and manage Microsoft 365 environments including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Admin Center.

Onboarding, Offboarding & Access Management

▸   Lead IT onboarding and offboarding processes including account provisioning, access control, and device setup.

▸   Ensure timely and accurate management of user permissions and system access in compliance with security policies.

Automation & Integrations

▸   Design and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Make (formerly Integromat) and SaaS integrations.

▸   Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and implement process automation opportunities.

▸   Support API integrations and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Postman.

Documentation & Collaboration

▸   Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, SOPs, user guides, and a centralized knowledge base.

▸   Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and strategic initiatives.

▸   Escalate critical issues to senior IT leadership as appropriate and participate in post-incident reviews.

▸   Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

▸   Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity.

Technical Skills

▸   Proven expertise supporting Windows and macOS environments in an enterprise setting.

▸   Advanced knowledge of IT troubleshooting methodologies for hardware, software, and network issues.

▸   Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint) and Microsoft Admin Center.

▸   Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).

▸   Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.

Soft Skills

▸   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

▸   Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

▸   Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads, manage competing demands, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

▸   Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice to Haves

▸   Basic JavaScript or scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

▸   Experience with API tools such as Postman and Twilio.

▸   Proficiency with database tools such as DBeaver, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

▸   Hands-on experience building and maintaining workflow automations in Make (formerly Integromat).

▸   IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent.

Co-Working days

MySigrid has co-working office in Ortigas where the whole team meets once a month at a minimum.
