Job Description
- Own and evolve the R&D Business Intelligence platform from an architectural and product perspective
- Translate business requirements from R&D and Finance into scalable data solutions
- Manage the BI platform backlog and guide an agile development team
- Design and govern enterprise-grade data models, data warehouses, and automated pipelines
- Ensure a secure, scalable, and future-ready data architecture
- Oversee integration with internal/external systems and ensure data quality and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to ensure high delivery standards
- Establish best practices in data governance, documentation, and operational support
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar
- 7+ years’ experience as Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer with platform responsibility
- Strong expertise in data modeling, warehousing, ETL/ELTÂ and automation
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with tools such as Power BI, KNIME, Talend, UiPath or Alteryx
- Experience working in agile environments (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Product mindset with experience in backlog ownership and stakeholder alignment
- Python/R and ML knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English.
