Job Description
The Event & Conference Project Manager leads the end-to-to planning, coordination, and delivery of the Drake Group’s events portfolio—covering industry sponsorships and conferences, client/customer events, community and brand activations, and virtual programs (webinars and digital events). You’ll lead planning, coordination, and delivery of the client’s events portfolio—covering industry sponsorships and conferences, client/customer events, community and brand activations, and virtual programs (webinars and digital events). You’ll drive impact across the client’s network by building scalable processes, ensuring flawless execution, and linking events to pipeline, brand, and client & candidate experience goals.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Manage the Group events calendar and translate business goals into measurable event strategies. Develop briefs, budgets, timelines, and RACI plans, ensuring stakeholder alignment and brand consistency.
- End-to-End Event Delivery: Lead concurrent in-person, hybrid, and virtual events from concept to post-event wrap-up, including sponsorship activations, venues, A/V, logistics, registrations, webinars, data privacy, and onsite execution.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with business, sales, and marketing teams to define audiences and content. Manage agencies, suppliers, speakers, and regional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Content & Campaign Integration: Collaborate on integrated marketing campaigns and align CRM/automation workflows for promotions, registrations, and post-event nurture. Oversee all event assets and materials.
- Performance & Budget Management: Track KPIs (registrations, CPL, revenue impact, engagement), ensure accurate lead capture and CRM attribution, deliver post-event reporting, and manage budgets and cost controls.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years’ experience in event/conference project management (B2B services, professional services).
- Proven delivery across sponsorships/exhibitions, conferences, client events, and webinars.
- Demonstrated project management capability (Gantt/timelines, risk, budget control, stakeholder management and ASANA or similar project management tools).
- Hands on with webinar and event platforms and CRM/Marketing Automation (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Confident working with senior speakers and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.
