Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist > time series datasets within a Databricks environment.
- Develop a Python library and example notebooks to enable domain experts to efficiently analyze complex datasets
- Build and maintain automated batch processing pipelines to enrich measurement data
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with user needs
- Contribute to the design of reusable, high-quality, and production-ready code
- Support data exploration and visualization through notebooks and potential dashboarding solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure reliability and scalability
Qualifications
- Strong Python development experience (5+ years).
- Solid SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with time series data analysis.
- Proficiency with Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience with Git / version control systems.
- Ability to build scalable and maintainable data solutions.
Good To Have Skills:
- Experience with Databricks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
- Experience building user-facing Python libraries.
- Familiarity with Plotly Dash (for dashboards / UI).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (testing, deployment automation).
- Background or interest in chemistry / chemical engineering / electrochemistry.
- Product mindset (user-centric thinking, feature discussions).
Additional Information
- Exposure to scientific domains (chemistry, electrochemistry, engineering) is a plus.
