Job Description
- Strategic development and optimization of infrastructure services in the areas of compute, storage, network, and virtualization.
- Planning, design, and implementation of new infrastructure services as well as continuous improvement of existing solutions.
- Management and coordination of infrastructure projects, from subprojects to full project responsibility.
- Innovation and automation: introduction of new technologies, standardization, and continuous enhancement of templates and documentation.
- Consulting and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and partners, including presales support and the creation of technical concepts.
Qualifications
- Education or degree in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration, computer science, business informatics) combined with several years of experience in data center and cloud infrastructures (server, storage, network, virtualization, backup, cloud integration).
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, project management methodologies, and experience in managed services environments.
- Technical project management and architectural expertise in infrastructure contexts, along with hands-on experience with hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a solution-oriented mindset, customer focus, and excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in using architecture and project management tools as well as common MS Office applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
