Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer (5-8+ years of experience) to join our team, working on a global eCommerce platform for a leading health & beauty retailer.
- Lead and mentor other team members.
- Design frontend architecture.
- Perform code reviews and ensure best practices across the team.
- Own features end-to-end: from design → development → testing → deployment.
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders (business & technical).
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and drive delivery.
- Contribute hands-on to coding, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Validate proof of concepts and propose optimal solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and support the team.
- Ensure alignment with business requirements and project goals.
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Angular (Spartacus is a big plus).
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6/ES7/ES8).
- Solid experience with Web Components & State Management.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Webpack.
- Strong expertise in SCSS / CSS preprocessors.
- Proven experience in frontend architecture and design.
- Experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in eCommerce platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud / similar).
- Understanding of functional programming concepts.
- Experience in enterprise/global projects.
- Exposure to frontend performance optimization.
