Job Description
In the era of the global energy transition, we are looking for an entrepreneurially minded generalist who can bridge the gap between complex technological possibilities and the strategic challenges of the energy and utilities industry. As Solution Architect Energy & Utilities (m/f/d), you are the architect of our industry solutions. You sit at the intersection of business development, strategy, and technology, transforming the expertise of our specialized business units into holistic value creation for our clients.
- Solution Design & Orchestration: You translate Nagarro’s technological excellence (e.g., cloud, AI, cyber security, IoT) into strategic industry solutions. You are not a technical specialist, but rather the generalist who understands how technology optimizes the business model of an energy company — from generation to trading to grid operations.
- Strategic Business Development: You identify market trends and customer needs across the entire Energy & Utilities value chain and develop compelling value propositions to position Nagarro as a strategic C-level partner.
- Bid Management & Deal Lead: You lead interdisciplinary expert teams through complex tender processes. You ensure that our proposals don’t sound like “IT components,” but like concrete answers to the business-critical questions of our customers.
- Portfolio Management: You structure our service portfolio for the energy sector and develop scalable solution approaches (“assets”) that combine our global engineering power with deep industry expertise.
- Stakeholder Management: You act as a diplomatic moderator in our matrix organization, aligning resources and ensuring that customers experience Nagarro as one integrated partner.
Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the energy sector (Energy & Utilities) as well as the major transformation drivers (decarbonization, digitalization, decentralization).
- Generalist Mindset: The ability to abstract technical concepts and articulate their economic value (“business value”) for different segments (renewables, trading, grid, retail).
- Entrepreneurial Profile: Experience in business development, consulting, or solution management for complex IT/engineering solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills: You are fluent in both “business” and “technology” and can engage equally well with business leaders and IT architects.
- Orchestration Skills: You feel comfortable in agile matrix structures and know how to lead experts from different disciplines toward a common goal.
- Languages: You communicate confidently and navigate our international Nagarro network comfortably in English and in German.
