Job Description
Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking an Angular Tech Lead to join its BPCE-SI (BPCE Solutions Informatiques) team, within the IT (Information Technologies) department, to work in a hybrid model in the Porto or Lisbon office.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Define Application Architecture: Design and guide the overall structure of Angular applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Make Key Technical Decisions: Select optimal approaches, libraries, design patterns and tools for the project.
- Ensure Code Quality: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and style guidelines for the team.
- Conduct Code Reviews: Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to standards, identify potential issues, and provide constructive feedback.
- Resolve Complex Technical Challenges: Act as the escalation point for difficult technical problems the team cannot resolve independently.
- Mentorship and collaboration: Guide and train team members, helping them grow technically and promote a collaborative and supportive team environment where members feel comfortable sharing ideas and asking for help.
- Technical Planning: Participate in sprint or iteration planning, estimating technical effort and identifying risks.
- Manage Development Lifecycle: Oversee and optimize development, build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Communicate Technical Vision: Present and communicate the technical vision and architectural decisions to the team, stakeholders, and other departments.
Hard skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Javascript.
- Advanced knowledge of Angular (experienced with versions 19+)
- Good knowledge of semantic HTML5.
- Good knowledge of Typescript.
- Good knowledge of CSS and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS.
- Good knowledge of RxJS.
- Good knowledge of unit testing.
- Good knowledge of versioning systems.
- Familiarity with Accessibility.
- Good communication skills in English (B2 level required). Communication skills in French are highly valued.
