Job Description
As a Senior Controller, you will join a newly created position in Portugal, within Financial Performance & Capital Steering teams. You will be under the functional supervision of Financial Strategic Planning Officer in Paris, and reporting locally to Banking Support Activity (BSA) Head of Finance in Portugal.
Your mission is to contribute to the budgetary and financial steering of the Finance support function. To this end, you will:
1. Provide support for the financial steering of the functional department:
- Prepare monthly financial deliverables,
- Perform analyses and controls and ensure data reliability,
- Coordinate stakeholders (business lines, financial steering, IT, etc.) in line with the schedule;
2. Take part in recurring forecasting and review exercises, including:
- Budget preparation,
- Quarterly monitoring (Business Review),
- Multi-year exercises (strategic plans).
3. Prepare the cost allocation elements of the Finance department to the different business lines of Natixis CIB;
4. Coordinate the implementation of required changes in the Financial Steering systems.
You will work daily in tandem with another member of the team based in Paris who is also responsible for the Finance function scope. While your teammate will be focused on Natixis HO business teams, you will take the lead on managing IT resources as well as on analyzing international financial charges and providing backup to your teammate.
Working with the Business Manager, you will support him in preparing periodic analyses and key messages; preparing presentations for the Finance function. You will work closely with all managers of the Finance department.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economy and related fields;
- Proven experience in finance roles (at least 8 years), preferably in a multinational corporation;
- Strong analytical and summarizing skills;
- Advanced knowledge of information systems (spreadsheets, databases, ERP, etc.) and of the MS Office Suite;
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and eager to explore the contributions of artificial intelligence;
- Proficiency in English;
- French is required for this position (commitment to reach B1 within a 6-month trial period) in order to interract with your Paris teammate.
