Job Description

Role Overview

Lead revenue growth across National sales strategy and Business Development, combining top-down market leadership with strong pipeline generation. This role oversees a team of Account Executives while driving integrated, multi-platform revenue across NBC Local Media properties.

Key Responsibilities

National

  • Serve as National Market Lead for the local LA stations, driving strategic revenue growth and cross-market collaboration.
  • Drive revenue growth across key sports tentpoles (including Olympics and Super Bowl), maximizing market opportunity and client engagement.
  • Partner with VP of Sales and leadership to set and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national clients, agencies, and advertisers.

Business Development

  • Lead the LA team on new business development strategy, targeting SMB and regional growth categories
  • Support in lead generation, pipeline development, and tracking, ensuring consistent new business growth.
  • Develop strategy to identify and convert untapped and emerging categories to expand revenue streams.
  • Drive integrated, multi-platform sales solutions across linear and non-linear channels.
  • Create customized marketing solutions that demonstrate the full value of NBC Local Media.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage and lead a team of Account Executives, driving performance, accountability, and revenue growth.
  • Oversee AE revenue budgets, pipeline health, and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years in media sales
  • Clear understanding of the multi-media ecosystem, particularly digital platforms
  • Knowledge of digital media landscape & experience with multi-platform campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and be available some evening hours as needed for client or station events

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work in Universal City with occasional travel
  • Must be 18 years old or greater
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
