Job Description
“Meet the Press with Kristen Welker,” the longest-running television show in history, is looking for an Executive Assistant with exceptional research skills and attention to detail. This person should have a demonstrated passion for politics and a professional initiative to support the brand across its platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Moderator and Executive Producer with scheduling and expenses
- Support team with administrative coordination and planning
- Book travel as needed
- Produce guest research and write questions for “Meet the Press” Moderator and Producers
- Generate and pitch show ideas and program guests
- Assist with show production, including graphics and tape elements, as needed
- Assist with broadcast guests
- Assist with show transcription efforts
- Produce content for show website and social media platforms
- Work closely with Executive Producer, Moderator, Senior Producer, and Producers
- Effectively collaborate with show staff
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative and/or production-based role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be available to work Saturdays & Sundays, as well as evenings and holidays as required

Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary: $29.08/hr
