Job Description
NBC News Digital (Shop TODAY, NBC Select) is seeking a Manager, Commerce Partnerships (New Business) to help drive new revenue opportunities across our affiliate commerce business. The position focuses on building strategic partnerships, launching new initiatives, and creating innovative programs with a strong pulse on culture, emerging brands, and evolving consumer trends.
You will unlock incremental revenue through sponsorships, earned brand promotion, and affiliate marketing, leveraging networks to identify creative partnership opportunities that drive value for brand partners, the TODAY audience, and the broader commerce business.
This role will manage 1–2 direct reports and report to the Head of Commerce Partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of new commerce partnerships and growth initiatives
- Build and manage a pipeline of brand partners, driving sponsorships and collaborations
- Develop integrated programs across affiliate marketing, content, social, and influencer activations
- Identify new partnership models leveraging affiliate marketing to drive incremental revenue
- Identifying underutilized retailers that could lead to larger, long-term partnerships
- Partner cross-functionally to bring new programs to market
- Develop proposals, pitch decks, and performance recaps
- Track pipeline and performance and identify opportunities to optimize and scale
Qualifications
- 4+ years in partnerships, account management, media, PR, or brand marketing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with brands, agencies, and/or affiliate marketing programs
- Must have a strong understanding of affiliate rates, affiliate platforms and affiliate reporting
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to build compelling partner narratives
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
