Job Description
The Manager, International Digital Media, is responsible for managing international paid media campaigns for the theatrical team.
Centralized media planning and buying is at the core of the position followed by strategy and coordination activities, budget management, and support for specific projects amongst others.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day execution of digital media campaigns and deliverables with the Media Agency and global partners (Google, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Spotify, etc.)
- Work with the centralized media agency and markets to develop international media summaries for Senior Management for all assigned titles
- Draft international media strategies based on comparable title reviews, available creative materials, group and departmental discussions, brainstorming sessions, and past campaign learnings
- Ensure media plan parameters are met, including flighting, demos, targeting, measurement, SOV, added value, traffic volume, and learning agenda
- Coordinate media launch processes and custom media programs in partnership with International Marketing, Regional Teams, and the Media Agency
- Collaborate with international creative teams to develop media assets required for centralized buys
- Review available research insights as campaigns begin and release dates approach, summarizing implications for campaign planning
- Optimize campaigns with the media agency as needed
- Work on post‑campaign analysis and develop recommendations for future media buys
- Prepare media and sales analyses and reports as needed, including locating historical figures for ad hoc analysis, annual commitments with regional channels, and reviewing contracts with online media vendors
- Communicate with regional and local offices to consolidate plan information, gather local feedback, and inform international media strategies and campaigns
- Summarize media plans for Senior Management and filmmakers
- Provide budget support for international and pan‑regional spending and negotiations
- Work with Finance and Marketing to ensure accurate reporting of the Media team’s Home Office budgets
- Review and discuss local media plans to ensure alignment with overall strategies while maintaining appropriate nuances for each territory
- Share innovative ideas and creative executions across territories
- Summarize plans for Directors, VPs, Senior Management, and other departments as needed
- Perform other related tasks and special projects on an ongoing basis
Qualifications
- College degree required
- 3+ years of media planning and buying experience required
- Must be able to analyze and compare assorted types of media advertising
Desired Characteristics:
- International marketing experience preferred
- Experience managing media and advertising costs, including budget development
- Background in the motion picture industry preferred
- Additional experience with other media channels (e.g., OOH, linear) preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer and digital tool
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 (bonus eligible)
