Job Description

NBCUniversal Advertising Products & Solutions (AP&S) is responsible for the product development and project management of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite. From sales support to campaign execution, delivery, and billing, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $7B+ annual advertising business. Together, we’re building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.

The Advanced Products and Activation team within Advertising Products & Solutions is responsible for leading the product development processes for advanced audience and contextual targeting solutions delivered to our advertising partners. We are currently seeking a Product Manager, Content Driven Solutions to support and scale NBCU’s contextual targeting and content optimization capabilities. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative product manager who is passionate about digital media and video advertising innovation, and who brings strong product execution skills, stakeholder communication abilities, technical fluency, and a willingness to take ownership where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Own foundational workflows supporting next-generation content-driven solutions across NBCU’s digital and streaming ecosystem
  • Become a deep expert in NBCU’s Ad Sales landscape, understanding end-to-end workflows and how content-based buying delivers value to advertisers and consumers
  • Support and execute content optimization strategies that improve contextual relevance, enhance advertiser outcomes, and maximize the value of NBCU’s content portfolio
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and workflows for Engineering and Operations & Technology teams
  • Partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Planning, Ad Operations, Insights & Measurement, Product, and Data teams to support the delivery and evolution of contextual products
  • Participate in stakeholder conversations and product forums, effectively communicating updates, dependencies, and tradeoffs to both working teams and senior audiences
  • Own day-to-day vendor engagement and facilitate ongoing communication to support delivery of product enhancements and workflow improvements
  • Contribute to the refinement of content taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and operational standards used across content-driven solutions
  • Support QA and validation processes to ensure product stability and data integrity
  • Manage and maintain product roadmaps for owned workflows, clearly communicating priorities, timelines, and dependencies
  • Track performance insights and contribute to KPI development to evaluate and optimize existing product capabilities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management within the digital advertising, streaming, or data-driven media ecosystem
  • Experience owning product workflows in cross-functional environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders when needed
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholder teams to deliver advertising or media products
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into product requirements and technical documentation
  • Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and pick up ownership in ambiguous or fast-moving areas
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Comfort working with technical concepts (e.g., APIs, data pipelines, metadata systems, agile development practices)
  • Proficiency in Excel and JIRA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NBCU’s content portfolio, streaming products, and advertising capabilities
  • Understanding of real-time content processing, metadata systems, and AI-driven content analysis
  • Knowledge of digital ad serving, streaming ad tech, and data-targeted advertising mechanics

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 2026, this role will contribute a minimum of four days per week from the office.

Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 (bonus eligible)
